The Discoverer is a high profile 6 panel baseball cap. It features our original buttonless design, which gives the cap structure and creates a sleek and modern look. The two front panels are semi-structured to provide additional structure to the shape of the crown. The sweatband is manufactured from honeycomb moisture management fabric. The baseball cap is unlined to improve comfort and fit, and exposes the soft suede and underside of the quills. The peak is free from unnecessary “decorative” stitching to emphasize the characteristic quills on the top of the peak.

The time from placing your order until your order is dispatched can vary from 3 weeks to 16 weeks. Our lead time depends on many factors including:
the availability of ostrich leather skins from tanneries, our production load, shipping delays and shipment delays at customs. Some of these factors

Customization
Color options
The Struzzu headwear collection is available in 30 different colors. All caps are currently available in one color of your choice only.High quality ostrich skins in standard colours like Black, Nicotine, Kango Tabac, Brandy, Cognac, Flame-red, Tangerine and Paprika are more readily available than other colors. Some colors may not be available immediately and may have a wait period of up to 3 months. This is due to long processing procedures and limited capacity of tanneries to process low quantity orders.Please note that the colors displayed on our website may appear different to the real color due to screen calibration differences.
Quill pattern options
All Struzzu caps, excluding the Front Runner sports visor, are available in two different quill pattern options.The quill pattern option refers to how much surface area is covered by quill. We offer two options: a half quill pattern or a full quill pattern. Please note that the underside of the peak is always covered in smooth ostrich leather regardless of which quill pattern option is selected.
Half quill pattern example
The distribution of large quill is primarily on the top of the peak and front facing panels. The side panels are usually covered in smaller quill that gradually fade into the smooth (quill free) areas of the leather. The side panels of a half quill pattern baseball cap are usually covered in quill up to the middle of the side panel, from the top of the cap to the base.

The distribution of large quill on full quill baseball caps covers the entire surface of all panels. *The distribution of large quill on full quill flat caps and full quill V-panel caps covers a minimum of 85% of the cap surface. Some areas on the back of full quill flat caps and full quill V-panel caps might not be covered in large quill.
Fitted vs Adjustable
Baseball caps, V-panel caps and Horizon caps can be customized to be fitted to your exact head size. It is vitally important that you take an accurate head measurement before placing your order. An adjustable cap is a great option for individuals who wear their hair in a ponytail, or for individuals who prefer to adjust the tightness of the fit during activity.

We offer three types of closures for adjustable caps. These include: a single row snapback, a double row snapback and a velcro closure.

Head measurement
An accurate head measurement is vital for a perfect fit.
How to measure your head
To ensure you measure the circumference of your head correctly, use a flexible tape measure and position the tape where you want your cap to sit. Measure the circumference of your head just above the ears, over the middle of your forehead above your eyebrows, and around the widest part of the back of your head.Do not pull the tape too tightly unless you want your hat to be as tight. Measure yourself 2-3 times just to be as accurate as possible.If you do not have a flexible tape measure, a piece of string will do (although not as accurate). Once you have measured your circumference and marked the string, lay the string flat and measure it.
Shipping and Returns
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
International deliveries may take up to 10 business days from the date of dispatch. Please note that we do not ship to P.O. boxes addresses.
TAXES & DUTIES
Struzzu provides a delivery duty unpaid (DDU) service for all online purchases. We are responsible for making safe delivery of goods to a named destination, paying all transportation expenses and assuming all risks during transportation; the buyer is responsible for paying all import duties and taxes. Struzzu is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
TRACKING
Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking code, so that you can monitor your delivery until it arrives at Customs.
RETURNS
Goods ordered on the Struzzu online store can be returned for a full refund within 14 days of delivery under the following conditions:
1 – The item ordered was damaged on arrival. The buyer will be required to submit photographic evidence of the damaged item and packaging via email (returns@struzzu.com) before any return can be made.
2 – The item delivered is not the item that was ordered as per the original invoice.
Please visit our Returns page to request a Return Merchant Authorisation (RMA) number as you will need to include this with your return. Please note that returns cannot be accepted without a RMA number.
Please make sure the item you are returning is in perfect condition and in its original packaging.
All returns should be accompanied by the original invoice.
Goods ordered online can not be returned for a full refund for any of the following reasons:
1 – The color of the item received does not match the color of the item displayed on any screen. Please note that the colors displayed may appear different to the real color, due to screen calibration differences.
2 – The quality of craftsmanship and general appearance of the item ordered does not match the expectation of the buyer. Struzzu provides high quality images of all goods featured on the online store. These images are there to provide the most accurate representation of each individual item. The buyer may also request additional images of a particular item prior to purchasing.
